Leave your pet in our care

If your pet has been booked in for surgery, you can be confident that they will be well looked after. Our caring vets carry out surgical procedures under the safest, most up to date anaesthetic protocols. Your pet will be monitored closely by our experienced nurses. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your pet's operation we are always happy to discuss these with you.

Your pet will be admitted by a vet on the morning of the operation so they can be checked over fully. We can also offer a pre-anaesthetic blood test. This is to check the liver, kidneys, electrolytes and blood cells prior to undergoing anaesthesia. We do recommend having this, especially for pets over the age of 7-years. We can analyse the blood sample on our accurate and efficient blood analysers in our laboratory. Any anomalies found on the blood test will be discussed with you before anaesthesia is undertaken.
